Love/Hate stars Aoibhinn McGinnity and Peter Coonan have reunited for the filming of The Drummer & The Goalkeeper, "an uplifting comedic story" written and directed by former Fat Lady Sings man Nick Kelly.
Kelly and Coonan previously worked together on Shoe, which was in the 2011 Oscar Live Action Short running.
Filming in Dublin for a month, it's main protagonists are a 25-year-old drummer with bipolar disorder and a 17-year-old with Asperger's Syndrome. Dermot Murphy whose previous credits include RAW, and debutante Jacob McCarthy also feature with legendary local rock venue Whelan's among the locations.
We trust, given Mr.Kelly's own preferences, that the goalkeeper in question is an Everton fan!
