Irish folk group The Highstool Prophets have announced two shows in Dublin's Ambassador Theatre (November 1) and Gleneagle Club in Killarney (December 5) for late 2025.
The five-piece outfit from Cavan formed in 2012 and have been rising steadily through the ranks on the local music scene.
Performing a mix of folk and country, The Highstool Prophets shared the stage with the Wolfe Tones on their massive UK and Ireland tour, as well as supporting the 2 Johnnies at Dublin's 3Arena in December 2024.
The ensemble have covered classic hits like ‘Zombie’ and Amy MacDonald's ‘This Is The Life’ and recorded the Brendan Graham song, 'Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears', in 2025.
They take their new show to Dublin's Ambassador Theatre on Saturday, November 1, and The Gleneagle Club, Killarney, on Friday, December 5, 2025.
On Instagram, the ballad group said they were "delighted to announce some new dates".
