Albin Lee Meldau Announces Whelan's Gig
Swedish newcomer Albin Lee Meldau has announced a headline show in Dublin later this year.
Fresh off the release of his debut album About You, the Gothenburg native is set to play in Whelan’s this October.
The ambitious singer/songwriter says that he feels storytelling is at the heart and soul of his music. Since first coming to prominence Meldau’s music has centred on themes such as addiction and mental illness illustrated most notably in his haunting music video for ‘Lou Lou’.
Meldau was nominated last year for Best Newcomer at the 2017 Grammis (Sweden’s Grammy Awards).
Albin Lee Meldau is set to play at Whelan’s on October 14th. Tickets cost €13.85 including booking fee and go on sale this Friday the 15th of June.
