Alan Partridge Announces New Travel Book
Iconic broadcaster and Norwich legend, Alan Partridge, will publish his third book in October.
The book, titled 'Nomad' will see the radio DJ travel around the UK in a bid to "to learn about who I really am. I was able to use transport when essential, but I set myself one caveat: no unlicensed minicabs."
This is Alan's third book, and as he said on Twitter: "They say every man has a book in them. Well, this is my third, making me as good at writing as three grown men."
Music fans will remember Partridge's cutting-edge music criticism – see his take on U2's seminal 'Sunday Bloody Sunday':
"'Sunday Bloody Sunday'. What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it? You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you just think 'Sunday, bloody Sunday!'"
Those who can't wait until October to get their P-Dizzy fix can head to the Bernard Shaw on September 2, which will be hosting a Partridge-themed quiz show, hosted by Geordie Michael. Tickets for a team of 6 are €60 and can be purchased here: https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/alan-partridge-quiz-hosted-by-michael-the-geordie-tickets-26639375088?ref=estw
