Adele tops the indie chart

Queen of all she surveys, Adele remains at the very top of the Irish indie chart with 21.

However it appears that Noel Gallagher is making a play for the top spot, with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds up two places to #2. Adele is hot on his heels though, with debut album 19 holding firm in third position. Closer To You, the third studio release from The Coronas, drops from #2 to #4 this week with Lisa Hannigan's Passenger staying at #5.

Rubberbandits stay in sixth place with double-album Serious About Men while Damien Rice climbs five spots to take the #7 position with O, no doubt sparked by the success of A X Factor winners Little Mix's take on 'Cannonball'. Eurosonic performer James Vincent McMorrow moves up to #8 with Early In The Morning while Ryan Sheridan and Scala & Kolacny Brothers round out the top ten.
