Adele reclaims chart throne
London singer returns to the top of the Irish album chart
2012 has kicked off in familiar fashion for the Irish album chart and Adele as 21, an album that practically lived in the #1 spot for most of last year, returns to the top of the mountain, climbing one place from last week's #2.
Taking the runner-up prize is Bruno Mars, whose Doo-Wops & Hooligans leaps a whopping ten places up the chart. Olly Murs and Coldplay also climb up the chart taking spots #3 and #4 with In Case You Didn't Know and Mylo Xyloto respectively while Rihanna's Talk That Talk drops two places to round out the top five.
Elsewhere there are top ten placings for Florence And The Machine, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Imelda May and Jessie J. The highest re-entry goes to The Saw Doctors, riding on the crest of a wave following the huge success of 'Downtown'. They're in at #22 with To Win Just Once - The Best Of.
