Acts confirmed for Shakefest 2009

Shakefest 2009 will take place in Charleville Castle in Tullamore, Co. Offaly on May 30. Already confirmed for the event are SuperJimenez, Chaplin, and Lauren Guillery, who performed so successfully at Shakefest 2008. Other acts will be confirmed in due course.

The festival, now in its fourth year, will also include over 20 dance and culture workshops for an all-in price of €65. There will also be an Holistic Fair in the castle's fairytale setting. Workshops and discussions will also cover Flamenco, Circus Skills, Bellydance and Energy-Movement-Dance, plus kids' workshops and face painting.

Shakefest 2009 will link up with Peace Zone, a new non-profit organisation based in Ireland and run by a small group of like-minded individuals.
