Her writing of 'Zombie' in response to the Warrington bombings will feature prominently.
The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Foundation, which was set up to commemorate two of the young victims of the 1993 Warrington bombings, has revealed that a film is being made about Dolores O'Riordan, and that her writing of 'Zombie' as a response to the atrocity will feature prominently.
Tim father's, Colin Parry, had been unaware of the connection until Dolores passed away and it was highlighted in a tribute.
"My wife came home from the police centre where she worked yesterday and told me the news," he revealed in an interview with BBC Radio Ulster. "I got the song up on my laptop, watched the band singing, saw Dolores and listened to the words. The words are both majestic and very real."
Colin and his team have worked tirelessly to promote peace and reconciliation.
"Many people have become immune to the pain and suffering that so many people experienced during that armed campaign," he added. "To read the words written by an Irish band in such a compelling way was very, very powerful."
