80s artists to stop by RDS
The ‘80s pop revival gathers apace with Nik Kershaw, T’Pau, Bananarama and – calm yourself ladies – Rick Astley making appearances in the Here and Now Christmas Party at the RDS in December.
Astley’s return comes on the back of the ‘Rickrolling’ phenomenon, which has seen 25 million internet users tricked into viewing his ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ video. Add in a nomination for Best Ever Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards – someone is possibly extracting the urine – and his profile is as high as it’s ever been.
The Here and Now Christmas Party will be coming to RDS on December 13. Tickets for the show start at €75.

Also Dublin-bound on February 27 are Scottish duo Hue And Cry who want €28 in return for letting you see their Whelan’s gig.
