In 10 years time we’ll be looking back at The Libertines as the band that launched 100 other pretenders. The Paddingtons are the latest to take their call of punchy guitar lines and skewed vocals from Messer’s Doherty and Barât. Though indie-circuit staples for years, they’ve toned down their unkempt punk and '50 To A £’ sees brush strokes of chirpy accessible indie pop. Not the best tune you’re likely to hear but decent stuff.
