White Lotus returns for season 3 with a star-studded cast

The HBO hit series White Lotus returns to screens with a new group of vacationers. Earlier this week, the show announced five new additions to the cast, including Sex Education star Aimee Lou Wood alongside Walton Goggins (The Shield), Sarah Catherine Hook (First Kill), Sam Nivola (Maestro) and Patrick Schwarzenegger (Gen V).

The series is set to begin production in Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok, Thailand this February, partnering with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support filming and promotion.

While plot details have yet to be released, it has been announced that Natasha Rothwell will be reprising her season 1 role of Belinda, a White Lotus spa manager strung along by the promises of wealthy resort guest Tanya, played by Jennifer Coolidge.

The show’s first season, set in Hawaii, received 20 Emmy nominations and ten wins, with its Sicily-based second season close behind, earning 23 nominations with five wins.
