Watch the trailer for the Colin Farrell and Emma Fogarty documentary The Slightest Touch

The first trailer for Rachel Fleit's documentary The Slightest Touch has been released. The documentary will drop on HBO Max on November 25, following its world premiere at the Dublin International Film Festival in February.

The film follows campaigner Emma Fogarty and her long-time friend Colin Farrell, as they explore 15 years of friendship, as well as Fogarty's experience living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). The genetic condition causes extreme skin fragility.

Fogarty marks her 40th birthday by participating in the Dublin Marathon with Farrell. The actor pushes her in her wheelchair for the final 4 kilometres of the marathon.

"Defying the odds with grit and humour, this dynamic duo’s race to the finish is an inspirational ode to friendship and being open to the world and all it offers," the documentary's synopsis reads.

The film is directed and produced by Rachel Fleit, alongside producers Claudine Farrell, Colin Farrell, Trevor Birney, Eimhear O’Neill and Frank Marshall.

Exceutive producers for The Slightest Touch include Aly Parker, Tony Rosenthal, Alexandra Bowen, Ori Eisen, Michael Raimondi, Katherine LeBlond and the Deshe Family. Niamh Fagan serves as executive produer on behalf of Screen Ireland. Dawn Bonder, Daniel J. Chalfen and Marci Wiseman are co-executive producers for the production.

The Slightest Touch is produced by Fine Point Films and Chapel Place Productions, in association with The Kennedy/Marshall Company, Original Films, Deshe Capital LLC, The deNovo Initiative, Union Editorial, Northern Ireland Screen and Screen Ireland (Fís Éireann).

The documentary was shown at the recent BFI London Film Festival, which ran from October 7 to 18.
