Sugar season two trailer starring Colin Farrell out now
The show will premier on June 19 on Apple TV+
The trailer for season two of Sugar, starring Colin Farrell, has been released.
The new season will be eight episodes long and premieres on June 19 on Apple TV+, running weekly until August 7.
Mark Protosevich created the series, while Sam Catlin, best known for his work on Breaking Bad, returns as showrunner. Farrell also serves as executive producer on the neo-noir drama.
Set in 1960s Los Angeles, Farrell returns in his role as private investigator John Sugar, who in the first season was hired by a movie producer to find his kidnapped daughter. The new trailer hints that Sugar will once again be drawn into another mysterious case.
Sugar first premiered in 2024 and received nominations at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Joining Farrell this season are new cast members including Jin Ha, Raymond Lee, and Tony Dalton.
Farrell has also recently been announced to star alongside Ralph Fiennes and Wagner Moura in an adaptation of Fernando Meirelles’ 1994 play Art. Last year, he appeared alongside Margot Robbie in A Big Bold Beautiful Journey and with Tilda Swinton in Edward Berger’s The Ballad of a Small Player.
