Netflix release new trailer for Ballad of a Small Player starring Colin Farrell
The film will come out in select cinemas across Ireland and the UK October 17 and on Netflix October 29.
Netflix have released a new trailer for their upcoming film Ballad of a Small Player starring Colin Farrell.
The feature is set to release in select cinemas across Ireland and the UK October 17 and on Netflix October 29.
It follows Lord Doyle (Farrell) who finds himself in debt after gambling away his funds.
He "is offered a lifeline by the mysterious Dao Ming (Fala Chen), a casino employee with secrets of her own," according to a synopsis.
However, following Doyle's trail is private investigator Cynthia Blithe (Tilda Swinton).
"As Doyle tries to climb to salvation, the confines of reality start to close in," continues the synopsis.
Based on Lawrence Osborne's 2014 novel of the same title, the film is directed by Edward Berger, who has previously worked on All Quiet On The Western Front and Conclave.
Additionally, Ballad of a Small Player stars Deanie Ip and Alex Jennings.
