The trailer has been released for the IFTA-nominated film Split Milk, set to arrive in cinemas on March 20.
Split Milk tells a story of an 11 year-old boy, who in 1984 inner city Dublin "dreams of becoming a great detective like his TV hero Kojak".
"Bobby sets up a private eye agency with his best friend. However, when Bobby’s rebellious older brother goes missing, their investigations turn chillingly real — leading them into secrets and danger far beyond what children are ready to face. Nevertheless, Bobby’s brave, loving and inspirational Mother leads him through these tough times," reads the logline.

Spilt Milk marks the debuts of director Brian Durnin and writer Cara Loftus. It earned four nominations at the 2025 Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) Awards for: 'Best Film,' 'Best Director,' 'Best Script,' and 'Best Costume Design'.
