Tonight's The Late Late Show lineup features BIIRD, Fiona Shaw and more
Fiona Shaw, Kathryn Thomas, Mario Rosenstock, Doireann Garrihy, and BIIRD will be joining Patrick Kielty on tonight's broadcast of The Late Late Show.
This week's The Late Late Show lineup has been announced.
BAFTA award-winning Fiona Shaw will join host Patrick Kielty to will share stories from her long and varied career and talk about her famed roles in Bad Sisters and Killing Eve. The Cork actor will also discuss her newest film, Park Avenue, premiering at the Dublin International Film Festival this week.
As weight loss drug Mounjaro becomes available in Ireland, presenter Kathryn Thomas will talk about her upcoming documentary, The Skinny Jab Revolution. A two-part series, Thomas will explore the rise of drugs like Mounjaro and what role they have, if any, in combatting obesity.
Ahead of his nationwide tour, comedian and satirist Mario Rosenstock will make an appearance, along with his repertoire of characters and voices. He is best known for his radio sketch series, Gift Grub, on Today FM, with comedic impressions of celebrities and politicians.
Dancing with the Stars presenter Doireann Garrihy will discuss her return to RTÉ 2FM, and her wedding to comedian Mark Mehigan in late November last year.
Traditional Irish music supergroup BIIRD will make their Late Late Show debut. An entirely female band, BIIRD has seen huge success since their first show last year - earning them a spot on Hot Press' Hot for 2025. Led by All-Ireland harp and banjo champion Lisa Canny, the group features 11 of the best trad players in the country.
The Late Late Show broadcasts live every Friday at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
