The Young Offenders series 3 to air on RTÉ July 24th
It will also air on BBC One on Fridays at 9.30 pm from 24 July.
Corkonian coming-of-age comedy The Young Offenders will see its third series come to screens sooner than anticipated.
The series follows Conor and Jock as they navigate their complicated home lives and relationships, and series three will see them navigating caring for baby Star, the newest family member. The series was one of the most-watched shows on BBC Three last year, making it one of the most popular Irish television shows both nationally and internationally.
"We are so happy that series 3 is getting to screens a little earlier than we thought it might,” said creator Peter Foott. “Given that it has been a very difficult time for so many over the last few months, we hope that series 3 will bring a smile to our audience’s faces when it’s most needed. The whole team is really excited to have everyone see the new series; it was a labour of love for all our amazing cast and crew. We’re also delighted that it will be moving to RTÉ 1 at 9.35 pm on Fridays. We really hope viewers enjoy this third series, which we are very proud of.”
