Netflix announce new thriller starring Eve Hewson

Netflix have unveiled a new murder mystery set in New England's Nantucket, based on Elin Hilderbrand's bestselling novel. The Perfect Couple features Irish actress Eve Hewson alongside the likes of Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Meghann Fahy, and Dakota Fanning.

In the series, Hewson plays Amelia Sacks, who is set to be married into one of the wealthiest Nantucket families, until a body turns up during the wedding ceremony, derailing the celebration.

The show is set in Cape Cod and filmed entirely in Massachusetts, providing an authentic New England setting.

The daughter of U2's Bono, Hewson has a hitherto successful acting career. She debuted in acting in 2005 with her role in the short film Lost and Found. After studying acting at New York Film Academy, the actress went on to act in The Knick, Bad Sisters, and the Netflix series Behind Her Eyes.

"I love doing shows like this that are murder mystery, binge-worthy with big characters, big stories, big drama," Hewson says of the upcoming role. "I really enjoy watching those series when they come out, so I was really excited to do this and be a part of it."
