Neil Young & Daryl Hannah Tie The Knot

Rock icon Neil Young and actress Daryl Hannah, perhaps best known for her roles in Splash , Blade Runner and Kill Bill, have reportedly married in secret.

The good news was only revealed after blues guitarist Mark Miller wrote on his Facebook page: "Congratulations to Daryl Hannah and Neil Young on their wedding today. May they have a long and happy relationship."

The 57-year-old actress, who also starred in Wall Street, and the 72-year-old rock star had reportedly been dating for four years, following Neil Young's split from his first wife, with whom he'd been married for 36 years.

The couple had a ceremony on Neil Young's yacht floating in the sea off San Juan Islands and were officially wed in Atascadero, California, according to the Daily Mirror.

Since the news broke, Mark Millar has taken to Facebook again. This time he wrote: "Interesting that it wasn't made public, but they included the well wishes I posted on my page last Sat. in their article, which is a 1st for me. I only knew about it because one of my friends attended the ceremony in Atascadero and announced it on his page. Interesting that another person (now unfriended) called me a liar over my post, (another 1st). Oops! Cya."

Neil Young is, of course, widely regarded as one of the greatest rock voices of his generation. Albums like After The Goldrush, Harvest, Rust Never Sleeps and Harvest Moon, among others, attained an iconic status, with the songs remaining hugely popular on radio. His current album The Visitor was released on 1st December 2017.
