Multiple international sales secured for 'Normal People'
Endeavour Content has secured multiple world-wide sales for the Element Pictures-produced adaptation of Sally Rooney's novel.
Normal People has been enchanting and shocking audiences in equal measure across Ireland, The UK and America. Now, Endeavour Content has managed to secure a whole whack of international sales so that the show can be distributed in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Greece and Denmark, among others.
The show was adapted by Sally Rooney herself, alongside Alice Birch and Mark O'Rowe. Rooney serves as an executive producer at the side of Lenny Abrahamson (who also directed the first 6 episodes).
Executive producers Alex Lowe and Ed Guiney said of the deal: "The response from audiences in the UK, Ireland, and the US to Normal People has been overwhelmingly positive. We are delighted that audiences around the world will now have the opportunity to see the show for themselves and we are grateful to Endeavor Content for helping put together such a strong line-up of international partners to launch Normal People into the wider world.”
