John Crowley to direct Adam McKay-produced psychological thriller Five
The BAFTA-winning director is set to direct the film in development at TriStar Pictures.
Brooklyn and Intermission director John Crowley will direct a psychological thriller, Five.
The film will be produced by Adam McKay, Kevin Messick and Betsy Koch, and written and executive produced by Seth Reiss.
While details are currently being kept quiet, the project is described as a two-hander, its plot centres around the life of a recent widow who falls into an obsession with the actress of a one-woman show.
The BAFTA-winning Cork native directed the upcoming We Live in Times, starring Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield. It tells a love story over a span of several decades.
The movie premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and is set to be released in Ireland on January 1, 2025.
