First trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, starring Brad Pitt released

The first trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth has been released. Brad Pitt returns as the Hollywood stuntman, the film is directed by David Fincher, with a screenplay by Quentin Tarantino.

Pitt stars alongside Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The actor originally played Booth in Tarantino's 2019 movie, Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, which examined life in the entertainment industry circa 1969.

Pitt won an Oscar for his role in the film. Leonardo DiCaprio played the ageing actor Rick Dalton, while Pitt starred as his stuntman, Cliff Booth. Tarantino reimagined the Charles Manson murders, with Sharon Tate surviving in his version of the event. Margot Robbie played Tate.

The movie will have a limited theatrical release, it will hit IMAX cinemas on November 25 for a two-week run, before debuting on Netflix on December 23.

"Murder, blackmail, theft, extortion — just another summer in Hollywood," the official longline reads. Set in 1977, Cliff Booth is no longer a Hollywood stuntman, instead doing odd jobs to get by.

"But Hollywood will always have problems, problems that can only be solved by someone with Cliff’s unique (occasionally extralegal) abilities. When he’s not earning his keep bartending or as a projectionist, Cliff Booth is a fixer — solving situations for Hollywood’s greats and, sometimes, not so good."

He is pulled into a scheme by his agent, Karen Crosby (Elizabeth Debicki), involving television star Charlie Peters (Scott Caan), his wife Toni (Carla Gugino), and his co-star Roderick 'Hot Rod' Harrison (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). There are also two gangster brothers, the Verduscos (Matt Groove and JB Tadena), causing mayhem across Los Angeles.
