Brad Pitt to star in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood follow-up
The film will be a "derivative" of Tarantino's original rather than a sequel.
Brad Pitt is set to star in a follow-up to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by David Fincher, the film will be produced by Netflix. In the 2019 movie, Pitt starred as stunt performer Cliff Booth alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie. No details about the plot have been announced for the new project.
Tarantino is believed to have allowed Pitt to bring the script to Fincher, who’s worked with the actor on projects like Seven, Fight Club and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Fincher has also directed Mank, The Killer and House of Cards for Netflix.
It’s uncertain whether the movie is related to Tarantino's scrapped final movie, or if DiCaprio and Robbie will make an appearance.
