David Attenborough announces Ocean in Concert show at 3Arena
The renowned biologist's documentary has been transformed into a live orchestral performance.
David Attenborough has announced an Ocean in Concert show at the 3Arena in Dublin on March 7, 2026.
The show comprises a screening of the documentary Ocean With David Attenborough, accompanied by a live orchestral performance of Steven Price's soundtrack to the film, to be conducted on the night by Robert Ziegler.
Price won an Oscar for Best Original Score for Gravity in 2014. The composer also worked with Attenborough on previous award winning documentaries such as The Hunt, Our Planet and David Attenborough - A Life on Our Planet.
Ocean With Attenborough was released in May 2025 to coincide with the revered biologist's 99th birthday.
“After almost 100 years on the planet, I now understand the most important place on Earth is not on land, but at sea." said Attenborough.
The concert comes along as part of a UK/Ireland tour, with dates in Bristol, London, Birmingham and Edinburgh. Tickets can be found here.
