Men Too Stressed for Sex
A survey by the University of Hamburg has found that men in their 30s and 40s are avoiding sex because they simply don’t have the energy. According to the research, the average man has sex four to 10 times a month, but only a generation ago, this age group would have had sex around 18 to 22 times a month. Frank Sommer, who conducted the survey, believes that daily stress is the cause leaving men tired and uninterested.
Snoring Ruins Sex Lives
Oh dear. If it wasn’t enough to learn that men are too tired for sex, it seems snoring is ruining women’s appetite for nooky too. According to the Great British Snoring Survey, nothing is more likely to ruin a couple’s sex live than snoring. Men are the most likely culprits, as seven in 10 men are snorers compared to four in ten women. Because of this, 25% of couples prefer to sleep in separate bedrooms. Relate, the relationship counselling service, agrees, saying that due to lack of sleep, snoring can leave couples too physically and emotionally drained for sex.

Premature Ejaculation Drug Possible
Help for men who suffer from premature ejaculation could be on the way. Clinical trials of a new drug, an anti-depressant called Dapoxetine, developed by Johnson & Johnson, seem to indicate that the treatment is generally effective for men suffering from moderate-to-severe premature ejaculation. The drug has yet to be approved, as side effects included nausea, diarrhoea, headaches and dizziness (Jesus wept! – Ed). However, Johnson & Johnson have pledged to continue developing the treatment. If successful, Dapoxetine is likely to be an even bigger seller than Viagra. According to the American Urological Association 27% to 34% of all men suffer some form of premature ejaculation.
