Paul Howard to be interviewed by Christine Dwyer Hickey at Dice Players writing workshop
The interview will be followed by a book signing.
Irish author and journalist Paul Howard will be interviewed by novelist Christine Dwyer Hickey, as part of a one day writing workshop hosted by The Dice Players Acting School at Palmerstown Parish Hall, Dublin on November 22.
Winner of multiple Irish Book Awards, Howard is best known for his character Ross O’Carroll-Kelly and the non-fiction book I Read the News Today, Oh Boy.
The workshop will be hosted by writer Kevin Curran, author of novels Citizens and Bestsploitation. His work focuses on working class life in the Dublin suburbs. His latest novel, Youth, topped a number of Best Book of 2023 lists.
The Dice Players is an acting school that offers 8-week acting courses open to beginners and experienced performers. They also often host workshops where professional actors, writers, and directors give their insights on the industry.
The upcoming event will run from 10 AM to 6:30 PM, with lunch provided at a local cafe/restaurant. Visit the Dice Players website for more information.
