Martina And The Moons, Really Good Time and others to play new Howth festival
A celebration of Guinness, oysters, and music, ALL SHUCKED UP! launches this spring
Howth Guinness, Oyster, and Music Festival: ALL SHUCKED UP! is set to begin on February 28 and will run until March 2. The festival will feature over twenty concerts, many of them free.
The Summit Inn is set to host three exclusive shows, including the 4 Bands on the Up concert. Really Good Time, Last Apollo, Blue Slate, and Martina and The Moons will take the stage as the four up-and-coming acts.
Other headline acts for the festival include Scullion, Ryan Sheridan and Aaron Finn, Frank and Walters, Leslie Dowdall and Mark Caplice, Zaska, and Toby Corton.
Tickets for 4 Bands on the Up and the other headline shows are available now, and there are plenty of free concerts planned. Ispíní na hÉireann will perform in O’Connell’s pub, the Scalps will play at McNeill’s, Luke Howard will be at Wrights Findlater - and many more.
Other events lined up for the festival are the Best Dressed Oyster competition - with many local restaurants taking part - and an Oyster Shucking Masterclass. Roaming Oyster Shuckers will be found throughout the village, selling oysters to attendees.
ALL SHUCKED UP! is set to end with The Last Shuck, a concert featuring musician Paul Byrne and guests.
