Dice Players to host one-day comedy workshop featuring Arhtur Matthews, Katherine Lynch and more

Arhtur Matthews, Katherine Lynch, Aideen McQueen and Willa White are among the comedians taking part in a one-day workshop held by the Dice Players on November 14 at the Palmerstown Parish Hall in west Dublin.

McQueen is considered one of the brightest sparks in the new generation of Irish comics, and regularly appears across Irish and UK TV. She'll be delivering a workshop on joke writing and crafting an onstage persona.

White meanwhile, has exploded in popularity over the last 18 months, and became the first Irish comedian ever to play the National Stadium when he headlined the venue in August 2025.  He'll be hosting a workshop covering comedy improv.

Matthews - perhaps best known for writing Father Ted - and Lynch, known for her often outrageous personas across a career on Irish TV, will host a conversation from 4-5pm, followed by a Q&A. Tickets to this event can be bought separately.

The Dice Players is an acting school that offers 8-week acting courses open to beginners and experienced performers. They regularly host workshops where professional actors, writers, and directors give their insights on the industry.
