Tommy Tiernan announces new show Stand Up Tommedy at Vicar Street for April and May 2027
The Meath comedian returns to Dublin following his 'World Tour of Counties.'
Tommy Tiernan has announced a new show, Stand Up Tommedy. He will be performing nine dates in Dublin's Vicar Street from April to May 2027.
The full list of dates are Thursday, April 1; Friday, April 2; Saturday, April 3; Thursday, April 8; Friday, April 9; Saturday, April 10; Thursday, April 29; Friday, April 30, and Saturday, May 1.
He is described as "part Preacher, part Confessor, part unreconstructed Messer," in a statement about the upcoming Vicar Street shows.
The comedian is currently on his 'World Tour of Counties,' upcoming dates include Westmeath, Leitrim, Limerick, Mayo and Galway.
"No venue too big or too small, from fancy arts centre’s to pubs with no lager and from hotel function rooms to local town halls," read a description on Instagram of the tour.
Tiernan featured in Hot Press' 'History in the Making: The Concert' at the 3Arena in February 2026.
His also has a comedy talk show on RTÉ, titled The Tommy Tiernan Show, which began in 2017. The premise of the show is that neither Tiernan nor the audience know who the guest will be until they walk out on stage. Past guests of the show include Michael D Higgins, Roy Keane, Denise Chaila, and Dermot Kennedy.
