Lindsay Lohan added to cast for upcoming series Sick Note
She’ll be joining stars Rupert Grint and Nick Frost for the second season, currently shooting in the U.K. The first season will premiere on Sky 1 this coming fall.
Former child star Lindsay Lohan has been confirmed for the second season of upcoming Sky 1 series Sick Note. The upcoming first season tells the story of a man named Daniel Glass, played by Harry Potter star Rupert Grint, who receives a dire (and ultimately inaccurate) diagnosis from his bumbling doctor, played by Nick Frost. When it is discovered that he is not terminally ill, his doctor encourages him to maintain the lie of his condition, in a situation that soon spirals out of control. Lohan will join the second season as the daughter of Daniel’s boss, played by Don Johnson.
Though the first season hasn’t even aired yet, the producers and team are excited to be beginning work on season 2. Producer Jo Sargent says, "We are thrilled to be making a second [season] of this nail-biting comedy and very excited to be welcoming the extraordinary talents of Lindsay Lohan to our all-star cast."
