Irish R&B artist Shiv signs record deal with Warner Music Ireland
Having released a string of singles back in 2020, young Dublin-raised, Paris-based artist Shiv has announced a record deal with Warner Music Ireland.
Zimbabwean/Irish musician Shiv has signed a record deal with Warner Music Ireland.
The R&B artist announced her signing with the major record label on her Instagram feed yesterday, writing: "watch outttttt my dogs cos my dreams are getting pretty gosh darn large."
Establishing herself early on as a house DJ, the young artist has recently turned her attention to where her passion truly lies: songwriting. Categorised as 'lush and ethereal' on Spotify, her lyrics entice the listener to sing along.
Drawing influence from artists such as Biig Piig and Jorja Smith, Shiv has been crafting her debut release. Other inspirations came from Orion Sun, Arlo Parks, H.E.R and FELIVAND.
Shiv, real name Siobhan McClean, also holds a degree in Psychology from UCD.
