Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Super Bowl trailer with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom

On yesterday’s Super Bowl the second trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge was released and shows not only Johnny Depp, but also Orlando Bloom, back in the franchise.

While the first trailer for the film, released in last year’s November, introduced Javier Bardem as Jack Sparrow’s foe, the ghost pirate Captain Salazar, in the new trailer the audience can catch a short look at Jack Sparrow this time.

In Salazar’s Revenge, which is subtitled Dead Men Tell No Tales in the U.S., Jack has to fight an army of deadly ghost sailors lead by Captain Salazar, while sailing on the shabby Dying Gull instead on his beloved Black Pearl.

Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow will be supported by the franchise newcomers Kaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites, but there will also be familiar faces brought back to the screen, such as Geoffrey Rush and Orlando Bloom.

The new Pirates of the Caribbean movie will hit the screens on May 26, 2017.
