Fantasy epic surpasses Frasier as the most honoured show of all time
Game Of Thrones swept the boards at last night's Emmy Awards, claiming 12 gongs to become the most honoured show of all time.
The haul, which included the Best Drama Series prize for the second consecutive year, brought the total number of wins throughout the years to 38 – one more that was managed by Frasier.
Elsewhere, Veep was again named Best Comedy Series, as its star Julia Louis-Dreyfus grabbed an incredible fifth Best Actress (Comedy) prize. Jeffrey Tambor also retained his Best Actor (Comedy) prize, for his turn in Transparent.
The People v. OJ Simpson also enjoyed a successful night, with five awards.
