Gavin James to perform free gig at Golden Discs Dundrum this weekend
The Irish pop/acoustic musician will perform at a number of select stores around the country to promote his new album, The Sweetest Part.
Gavin James will release his third studio album The Sweetest Part this Friday, July 22. To celebrate, the Dublin singer-songwriter will be treating fans to in-store signings and intimate performances at select Golden Discs stores around the country - including the Dundrum Town Centre store this Saturday, July 23.
James will also be at Golden Discs stores in Kilkenny (Friday 22nd), Waterford (Sunday 24th), Galway (Monday 25th), Drogheda (Wednesday 27th) and Cork (Thursday 28th) throughout the week.
Having already clocked up 1.8 billion Spotify streams, a diamond record, 45 Platinum and Gold records across the world, a No. 1 album in Ireland, and a sold-out world tour, the Stoneybatter native's forthcoming release will explore "the highs and lows of love and relationships".
James wrote and produced the new album alongside heavyweight names such as Mark Ralph (Years & Years, Clean Bandit, Jax Jones), Fiona Bevan (One Direction, Ed Sheeran), Ollie Green (Freya Ridings, Lewis Capaldi) and Jimbo Barry (The Script).
A selection of singles from the record have already been released, including 'Greatest Hits' - which spent several weeks in the top 5 radio tracks in both Ireland and Switzerland - and the title track, 'The Sweetest Part', which was co-written by Kodaline guitarist Mark Prendergast.
The lead single 'Novocaine' was also co-written by OneRepublic's lead vocalist, Ryan Tedder, who has previously worked for acts like Adele, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande.
Gavin James will continue to tour his new album throughout the summer. See the full list of dates here.
