For One Night Only...Irish spoof film The Middle Finger comes to Light House Cinema
Low on budget and high in laughs, don't miss one night only event.
According to Scannain, The Middle Finger tells the story of Dennis, a lonely and frustrated teenager who is reluctantly transformed into a superhero - albeit one who has a giant middle finger attached to his head. The usual superhero-move tropes show up and Dennis is forced to try to save the world from extinction. Hilarity is the only thing that's certain.
The film is written and directed by comedian Séamus Hanly, who also takes the lead role. It also stars Casey Jones and Simon Mulholland.
This screening will be the only one in Dublin prior to the films release later this year on VOD (Amazon Prime, iTunes) and Blu-Ray by legendary U.S. distributor Troma Entertainment.
The screening on August 18th will be followed by a Q&A with Director Séamus Hanly, hosted by comedian Alison Spittle. Tickets are on sale now.
