Eve Hewson to play troubled newlywed in film <i>Paper Year</i>

The second daughter of Paul (Bono) and Ali Hewson, the actress was last seen in Steven Spielberg's cold war thriller Bridge of Spies.

The film marks the directorial debut of New Girl writer Rebecca Addelman and tells the story of the madly-in-love Franny (The Knick star Hewson) and Dan (Tut star Avan Jogia) who tie the knot with only $175 between them. Not long after their honeymoon period, cracks start to appear in their relationship.

Eve Hewson will also be on screens next year opposite star Taron Egerton (Kingsman: Secret Service) in new film Robin Hood: Origins. She will play Maid Marian.

Paper Year began production in Toronto this week and will also film in Los Angeles.
