Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reach custody agreement
The Hollywood couple, who announced they would be divorcing back in September, have reached a custody agreement over their six children, with all of the children set to remain living with their mother for the time being.
Jolie and Pitt's children Maddox (15), Pax (12), Zahara (11), Shiloh (10) and twins Vivienne and knox (8) will remain in Jolie's custody, with Pitt granted "therapeutic visits" with the family.
"We can confirm that childcare professionals have encouraged a legal agreement accepted and signed by both sides over a week ago," a statement released on Jolie's behalf reads.
"In accordance with this agreement, the six children will stay in their mother's custody, and the children will continue therapeutic visits with their father. This has been determined by childcare professionals to be in the children's best interest."
Just days ago it was announced that Pitt would seek joint custody.
