Stephen Fretwell plots Irish tour

The Manchester based singer – formerly a guest of the Hot Press Chatroom at Electric Picnic – plays The Limelight, Belfast (May 31); Roisin Dubh, Galway (June 1); Cyprus Avenue, Cork (2); Dolan’s Upstairs, Limerick (3); Academy 2, Dublin (4).

The 27-year-old released his first EP six years ago, and has survived the somewhat unexpected success of his Magpie debut, retreating to New York to record 2007's follow-up Man On The Roof.

Now back on home soil, he sets off on a UK tour next month before finishing up in Ireland.

Tickets for Fretwell's Irish dates are on sale from this Thursday, April 23, from Ticketmaster and usual outlets.
