The flame-haired star is back on his Irish Albums Chart perch.
Momentarily displaced by those pesky Aussie pop-punkers 5 Seconds Of Summer last week, order has been restored at the summit of the Irish Albums Chart. Ed Sheeran's second album, X, has now been on the chart for 72 weeks, but it is once again the biggest-selling album of the week.
The Australians see their Sounds Good Feels Good drop to third, as new competition from some old voices arrives at the business end of the chart.
At No. 2 is the late King Of Rock 'N' Roll. If I Can Dream is a new compilation that pairs Elvis Presley's vocals with classical arrangements from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Here's a sample...
At No. 4 is returning rocker Rod Stewart. While he's back working with The Faces, <>Another Country is a solo Stewart effort that takes in every from reggae and ska to Celtic melodies.
Rounding off the Top 5 is Taylor Swift's 1989.
In terms of other new entries, it's all about respected indie types steeping away from the day job and being greeted with success.
EL VY, the new project from The National's Matt Berninger, see their Return To The Moon debut enter at No. 7, while Elbow frontman Guy Garvey sees his solo album, Courting the Squall, debut at No. 9.
