Michael Eavis was recently spotted checking out the Manc band...
Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis was spotted among the crowd last Friday at Hungary's Sziget festival, as Manchester act The Stone Roses did their thing.
The next day he told NME, "I'm very keen on The Stone Roses – I always have been. They played at Pilton Party for 300 people in 1995, which the year they cancelled on the main event and Pulp stepped in to replace them. I would like them to come back at some point. Are they a possible headliner for next year? I think it is possible, yeah."
This will surely be the icing on the cake for the Roses, who reformed this year - playing a string of European dates before heading home to Manchester for three sold-out shows in the city's Heaton Park. They also crossed the pond for a one-off gig in Dublin's Phoenix Park last month.

Glastonbury welcomed headliners U2, Coldplay and Beyoncé last year, and is taking a break this summer before preparing for 2013's mammoth event. Keep an eye on hotpress.com for updates!
