Indiependence festival announces official campsite
It's free for standard Weekend Ticket-Holders!
The already fabulous Indiependence festival has become even more enticing, with the organisers getting the green light for an official campsite at O’Connell Park in Mitchelstown.
Not only is it just five minutes away from where the musical action is taking place, but it’s also free if you’ve purchased or are about to purchase a €59 Weekend Ticket. If you have Day or Early Bird tickets, you’ll also be able to stay there for a small supplement.
Embracing the idea of the August Bank Holiday bash, the town has also okayed 2am extensions in all of its bars, many of which will have live music and DJs until the wee small hours.
Star turns include Ocean Colour Scene, The Blizzards, Fight Like Apes, Fred, The Frank & Walters and Super Furry Animals who are interviewed in the current issue of Hot Press.
