Snow Patrol announce details of new DVD

Mums And Dads Of The World Please Be Patient With Your Children: so say Snow Patrol when they release their new DVD next month

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 26 Oct 2004

Here it is, your first glimpse of Snow Patrol's Mums And Dads Of The World Please Be Patient With Your Children DVD, which is released on November 23.

Culled from their early August show in London's Somerset House, the full track-listing is: 'Wow', 'Gleaming Auction', 'Spitting Games', 'One Night Is Not Enough', 'You Are My Joy', 'How To Be Dead', 'Chocolate', 'An Olive Grove Facing The Sea', 'Same', 'Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking', 'Ways & Means', 'Run', 'Black & Blue', 'Post Punk Progression' and 'Tiny Little Fractures'.

Add in footage shot by the band as they systematically conquered the world in 2004, all of their videos to date and assorted hidden extras and it makes for a well tasty package.

That scamp Gary Lightbody also goes extracurricular on November 1 with his own compilation album. Part of Family Recordings' The Trip series, its VFM 35-tracks include offerings by Low & Springhill Jack, TV On The Radio, Four Tet, Kojak, Jacknife Lee, Secret Machines, Mylo, The Shins, Bill Withers, The Fiery Furnances, Joy Zipper, Republic Of Loose and his old mate and songwriting partner Iain Archer.
