The DJs will play two special pre-Christmas events at St. Columbs Hall in Derry on December 12 (Carter) and 19 (Weatherall).
Admission is £8 before 10.30pm, and a limited number of advance tickets are on sale online at wegottickets.com. Doors are at 10pm. Support at both events comes from Deep Fried Funk DJs.
Jon Carter will DJ the first event on Saturday 12 December. He was successful as a resident of the era-defining Heavenly Social in ‘94, playing legendary weekly sessions alongside the Chemical Brothers and Death in Vegas at the infamous Albany pub in central London. As a top producer/remixer, he has released several memorable tracks with his band Monkey Mafia and has remixed major acts like Manic Street Preachers, The Prodigy, Gorillaz and U2. Carter has become a Derry favourite with his unique soundsystem-style mix of house, techno, ragga, dub and breakbeat.
