B.P. Fallon: Single At Last!
B.P. Fallon's debut single is set for release on December 8.
The legendary Irish scenemaker, DJ and broadcaster has been working with White Stripes man Jack White, who produced and played guitar on the record.
"It was recorded in Nashville," BP tells Hot Press, "with JW playing guitars on it. including the sexeiest slide. It's like 'Performance' drenched in the sweet humidity of the Louisiana bayou."
The front cover (see illustration) is a plain text-free shot of the Beep, with all of the requisite details on the back sleeve.
"It's the first-ever three sided single," B.P says enigmatically.
B.P. Fallon is among the DJs playing the All Tomorrow's Parties-run My Bloody Valentine-curated 'Nightmare Before Christmas' event in MInehead, Somerset, in England.
Among the acts lined up for the weekend are My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, De La Soul, EPMD, Sun Ra Arkestra, The Horrors, Buzzcocks, Spectrum, Fucked Up J Mascis and the Fog, Bob Mould, Swervedriver, Dirty Three, Primal Scream, Serena Maneesh, Yo La Tengo, That Petrol Emotion – and lots more...
