DEAF: first acts announced, tickets go on sale
The first acts of this year's Dublin Electronic Arts Festival have been revealed, with M83, Nurse With Wound, Model 500, Laurent Garnier and Trans Am among the initial highlights.
Nurse With Wound headline the opening event at Andrews Lane Theatre on Thursday October 23. Support for this seated show is from Stephen O'Malley of American drone merchants Sunn O))). Tickets are €22.50.
Friday October 24 sees M83 and Channel One play Vicar Street (€23) while Trans Am and ZZZ hold the fort in The Village (€20).
The closing party is a "three-stage access all areas event in the Village and Whelans" taking place on Bank Holiday Sunday October 26. Model 500 (Featuring Juan Atkins & Mike Banks), Laurent Garnier, Moritz von Oswald, Fuckbuttons, Legion Of Two, DJ Chef, Bass Clef, Americhord, Rollers/Sparkers and more to be announced. Tickets for this show are €35.
