RSAG for Dolan's Green and Live Sessions
Kilkenny's RSAG (Rarely Seen Above Ground) have announced that they will perform at the Green and Live Sessions in Dolan's Warehouse this month.
Kilkenny's RSAG take to the Dolan's stage on Thursday July 31 for the fifth Green and Live Sessions gig alongside Limerick's very own Windings (featuring Stephen Ryan of Giveamanakick) and Themetuneboy (ex-Hitchers Niall Quinn).
RSAG, aka Jeremy Hickey, is a multi-instrumentalist who records, performs and produces all his own material. He has been writing and recording in a home-based studio for the last three years.
The project was gestating inside him for years while he supplied the erratic rhythms and bass grooves to the much missed musical cyborg that was Blue Ghost. On stage, RSAG uses drums / percussion and vocals, with pre- recorded backing tracks. Visually, he has created a virtual band which is projected on a screen behind him. Think of Joy Divison, Talking Heads, Fela Kuti, New York rockers ESG, with the visual impact of Gorillaz.
Admission is free and doors open at 9pm
