Hamell on Trial announce Irish dates

Variously described as “punk acoustic” and “anti-folk”, the Syracuse, New York one-man band signed five years ago to DiFranco’s Righteous Babe label, and has amassed a huge live following with scalpel-sharp polemics like ‘Civil Disobedience’, ‘Shout Out’ and the ever so subtle ‘Go Fuck Yourself’.

Hamell On Trial plays Cyprus Avenue on August 15, Bog Lane Theatre, Ballymahon on August 16 and Whelan’s on August 17.
