50 hours of Oxegen on 2FM
2 FM and 2XM have announced the details of their exclusive Oxegen festival coverage.
As their motto goes, 2FM really are 'livin’ the life and lovin’ the music'. The national music radio station have announced details of their exclusive Oxegen coverage. The station, along with its trial digital sister station, 2XM, will broadcast over fifty hours of music during the three days of the festival.
Oxegen veterans, Jenny Huston, Jenny Greene, Cormac Battle, Dan Hegarty, Dave Fanning, and Mr Spring will bring all the action over the radio waves for those who didn’t make it down, are stuck in festival traffic on the Naas road, or those just too lazy to crawl out of their tents.
RTÉ 2XM WebTV will also make a debut at Oxegen. With camera’s on the RTÉ 2FM roadcaster and backstage, all the goings-on will be beamed out to the world from Punchestownvia the world wide web. Although this is a pilot project 2XM hope to continue it for Electric Picnic later in the summer.
Here’s how you can plug in; Tune in to the radio on 2FM or watch live RTÉ 2XM Web TV @ Oxegen at www.rte.ie/2fm, and if you want to relive those great musical moments footage will be available online for a week after the festival.
