Blood Red Shoes to play Irish dates

Comprised of Stephen Ansell and Laura Mary Carter, the twosome worked their socks off last year, doing the full round of UK festivals as well as supporting Maximo Park and Biffy Clyro. They've recently released 'You Bring Me Down', the first single from their forthcoming album.

Their Dublin visit will take place in the Hub, Temple Bar on January 25. Support on the night comes from The Minutes and Arch Enemies, while DJs Trev Radiator and Audiocrkt will keep the party going until the small hours.

Tickets can be obtained from Ticketmaster for a mere €14 and the band have also announced shows in Whiskey, Cork (January 23), Roisin Dubh, Galway (January 24).
