Vote for your favourite festival!

Organisers of the first-ever Irish Festival Awards are asking festival-goers to vote for 'the best bands, bars & bogs' online at www.irishfestivalawards.ie.

The website will give fans across the country a voice on what was hot this summer and the chance to give credit to the organisers where it’s due.

2007 saw a huge increase in Irish music festivals and the awards bring the supersized and small festivals together with seventeen different voting categories, including best medium-sized festival, best one-day festival and best rock act.

Voting will take place during the month of December and votes will be collated in January, with award presentations and publication taking place in February 2008.
